Perhaps you’ve dreamed of playing Angry Birds on your 75-inch, LED backlit, rose-gold-colord, curved display TV. (We all have…) You have wished. Samsung has delivered.

This fall (August, specifically) Samsung is going to launch their flagship ES9000 75-inch, LED backlit LCD in the U.S. The gargantuan panel will feature a “rose-gold-colored” finish (ew?) and curved glass display. There’s also a hidden pop-up webcam and support for Sammy’s full suite of smart TV apps, including Angry Birds.

The real meat of the story such as resolution, brightness, contrast, etc. haven’t been revealed quite yet. That said, we’d like to think there’s something somewhat “new” here to justify the $9,999.99 price tag other than the sheer size of the thing.

So how many of you are going to buy this just for Angry Birds…

Aw Samsung. What made you slash the price from 18k to 10k in a week? Your intention was to sell it at 10 k all along but to give consumers a sense of relief to make them believe its at a discount now. FAIL miserably.

I for one am not. If this TV had 4k and it was a passive 3D set like the LG one thats about to come out, i might consider it since LG’s is 84″ and wont fit in my house.

What’s with that ugly looking TV stand?? What about the futuristic U-shaped stand that the other ES series have? This TV doesn’t look any better than the lower versions of the same series.

Same here. I thought it would have 4K resolution like LG’s 84″.
