The upcoming Samsung Jasper (aka: SCH-I200) has finally seen its face revealed on Twitter, via @evleaks. As far as looks go, we’re getting a very Samsung Charge vibe here. Spec-wise, mid-range is the name of the game with a dual-core Snapdragon processor (MSM8960) clocked @ 1.5 GHz as well as LTE. Sounds pretty “high-end”, no? Well, the display is where Samsung pinched some pennies. While the official resolution hasn’t been revealed just yet, rumors point to a simple WVGA 800 x 480 display of unknown size — likely ~4-4.3″.
Pricing and release date are still a mystery, though, we’d say price shouldn’t be too much more than $149-$199 given the mid-range moniker.
Despite the somewhat antiquated hardware, the processor is one that powers the latest dual-core champs such as the (U.S.) One X and Galaxy S III and LTE is on board. Oh, yeah. It also ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Thank god…
