T-Mobile’s HTC One X To Be Faster, More Powerful And More Manly Thanks TO 1.7 GHz Quad-Core Processor.

While the LTE version of the HTC One X currently floating around the U.S. sports “just” a 1.5 GHz dual-core S4 processor (which is insanely fast in its own right), T-Mobile is the place to be if the best of the best is all you care about. A leaked screenshot details the T-Mobile bound HTC One X+, with the “+” meaning this new hotness will swap out the LTE-compatible S4 for Nvidia’s quad-core Tegra 3 processor and receive a healthy little speed bump in the process to 1.7 GHz over the standard 1.5 GHz the Tegra 3 normally ships with.

Previous rumors surrounding a mysterious “HTC Era 42″ are now believed to represent the HTC One X+.

Look for T-Mobile’s new One X+ flagship to drop sometime in September if everything goes to plan.

So, T-Mobile users. Is the One X+ pretty much the greatest thing you’ve ever seen? Or, are you not an HTC fan, in which case your eye is set on some other prize? Let us know in the comments!

HTC usually makes premium devices ( and I’m a fan of their sense UI) so I would naturally expect nothing less. On the other hand, removing some basic features like a micro SD storage option in the original One X was a deciding factor to hang on to my SGS 2. Hopefully, HTC adds this in the One X+
