Microsoft is hard at work on a revamped Xbox 360 dashboard. Problem is (for us anyway), there’s still a drawn out beta period to go through before the new UI hotness hits the masses. But if you love living the beta lifestyle, Major Nelson has come through to save the day, posting instructions on how to sign up for the Xbox Live Dashboard update beta program. Things like NDAs and promising to not share details and/or images about the new dashboard update or the beta process are included in the fine print.
Besides the new UI, the upcoming Xbox Live Dashboard update will include “personalized dashboard recommendations” and “enhanced category search and discovery features”, not to mention its own version of Internet Explorer (yay?).
