Strolling through a few of the nation’s airports (such as Minneapolis and Atlanta to name a couple) will result in stumbling upon a BlackBerry branded retail store. While their growth has been somewhat positive abroad, here in the U.S. the BlackBerry stores have never quite caught on. In fact, there is only one stand-alone location – Farmington Hills, Michigan.
And soon they’ll (allegedly) all be gone.
According to a source of Cantech Letter, RIM is cutting their losses and closing all U.S. stores, mini-stores and stand-alone locations “soon”.
