Samsung Announces Revamped 7 Series Gaming Laptop.

Apple’s fantastic line of MacBook Pro laptops have become quite the power houses over the last few years, handedly powering through more modern games at decent (to above decent) resolutions along with playable frame rates. But if true mobile gaming is your primary concern, big, hulking windows laptops with potent GPUs are still the go-to solution.

Looking to carry you through (digital) battle this time is Samsung’s newly refreshed 7-series laptops complete with AMD HD 7870M GPU, tri-core Intel i7-3610QM, 8 GB of RAM, 14.3-inch 17.3-inch SuperBright 3D LED display (400 nit) and dual-drive bay layout packing 1 TB of HDD + 128 GB SSD storage.

Currently priced at 2.99 million Won (~$2,643 USD), the revamped 7-series still don’t have a U.S. launch date to look forward to. Hopefully that changes and soon.

*Edit: We incorrectly reported the screen size as 14.3″ when it is in fact 17.3.

    Serious CPU, serious display and serious storage = 10 minute battery life. 20 minutes if you cut the brightness to half. Honestly, I would prefer a 14.3″ display(wishful thinking). For $2700, they better throw in a free Asian chick with equal or better hotness to the one pictured with every purchase.
