While we already know the launch time frames of Sony’s upcoming Xperia T flagship phone as well as HTC’s new One X successor, the One X+, it’s always nice to see things get a bit more official by way of FCC filings.
Today, the aforementioned devices both skirted through the FCC’s hallowed halls. The Xperia T shed it’s outer shell and let us peek under its hood while the One X+ quad-core uber phone and it’s mentions of LTE leave us just as mystified. Two very powerful, very sexy phones (assuming the One X+ keeps the One X’s styling). Sadly, the Sony Xperia T we’re dealing with today is not branded as or carrying AT&T LTE inside. Instead, penta-band HSPA+ is the name of the game meaning T-Mobile is the likely destination. The One X+ on the other hand does feature LTE – that’s the reason we all care: Tegra 3 + L TE.
Hopefully more info on these two beasts, particularly the still shrouded in mystery One X+, is revealed soon.
