How often do you have to wipe down your phone due to the touchscreen being covered in fingerprints? As much as Apple and other companies try saying their screens are made to resist leftover fingerprints and smudging, we are still stuck with this dilemma. When I first entered the world of Apple, I immediately bought a cleaning solution called iKlear. To show just how well their solution worked, I bought my first order of it in 2007, and to this day, I still have the same package on my bookcase.
iKlear isn’t a super cleaning solution that has lasted me over 5 years. It’s a solution that barely did anything for me. So when I was notified of another solution on the market aimed to be the “ultimate electronic cleaner”, it’s safe to say I was skeptical. Thanks to John, from AppleJuce, I was able to give this cleaner a demo, and see if this was really the ultimate solution.
A Quick Overview of AppleJuce
AppleJuce is promoted as being the ultimate electronic cleaner and polisher. Among the cleaning abilities, they advertise that it has an apple scent (hence the name). Also for all the environmentalist out there, it is also a 100% green product.
So How Did It Turn Out
The folks at AppleJuce allowed me to sample out their Travel Kit. The kit consists of a 2oz bottle of their cleaning solution, as well as a black AppleJuce branded cloth. Obviously with so much emphasis on the scent of the product, I immediately sprayed it into the air; similar to someone spraying cologne at a department store. The only way to describe the scent is by picking up a green apple (granny smith?) and biting into it. That immediate juicy scent you get when biting into that apple is packed directly into this product.
Once it passed my scent test, I grabbed the dirtiest device in my house (MacBook Pro) and started cleaning the keyboard base. Within 2 minutes, it looked as if the great workers from FoxConn just shipped me my laptop. It was almost flawless; only thing that ruined the brand new look, was typical wear and tear.
At the time of writing this, I have been using AppleJuce for 2 and a half weeks. In this time, I have used this cleaner on: my TV, my iPhone 4S, iPad 1, iPad 2, iPad 3, and my MacBook Pro. All in all, it has worked flawlessly on all my devices, and would highly recommend this to anyone interested in giving their products that extra shine.
As most of you know, I am someone who would never recommend a product unless I personally felt it was the best. I also know personally I am someone, that can only take a recommendation so far. That is why myself, Gadgetsteria and the guys at AppleJuce/MacMedia are going to give one reader a free Travel Pack. All you have to do is leave a comment explaining wht you feel you should receive the Travel Pack.
