After Hike’s debut into the open world last week was met with almost immediate server implosion due to a higher than expected traffic increase, the company is proud to announce they are back today with more resources and global rollout timeline.
The goal: bring 5 new countries into the fold each day based on demand and traffic. For today’s re-launch, a handful of countries are ready to go out of the gate:
- Azerbaijan
- Bahrain
- Bangladesh
- India
- Jordan
- Kuwait
- Lebanon
- Oman
- Pakistan
- Qatar
- Saudi Arabia
- Sri Lanka
- UAE
- Yemen
Citizens can improve their country’s chance of getting Hike service earlier than scheduled by simply tweeting @hikeapp wi the “#gethike (add your country here)” hashtag.
