I love music, and something I’ve collected over the years is vinyl. Now Mike is the audio junky in the office. He cares sooooo much about which headphones sound the best, when all I really care about is good music. And some of the best music is that of the wax variety. I have a turntable and receiver, but with all my children running around, it’s hard to keep it out in constant use. So when I first received this press release yesterday, I about crapped myself!

Pyle, a manufacturer of home, car and pro audio equipment has unveiled its latest in turntable innovation with the Retro Belt-Drive Turntable. Dressed in a classic briefcase outfit, this USB turntable is designed to provide you with an on-the-go option for those 7″ and 12″ pieces of pure gold. The best part of this is you can connect directly to your computer to allow for easy conversion of vinyl to mp3s.

Packed with 3 speeds – 33, 45 and 78 RPM, this turntable will be the last one you ever buy. USB connectivity for converting your vinyl, two built-in Stereo Anti-Magnetic Speakers, Stereo RCA output and a rechargeable battery are just a few of the things that give this briefcase the goods.

The Briefcase Turntable is available now at Pyle’s website for $188.99. You can easily find a turntable and receive for a fraction of this price, but for the portability feature and seriously sex idea, the price means nothing. I am trying to get a review unit in hand, so stay tuned!
