The Moto X is one of the most anticipated Android phones of the year despite a spec sheet that would make last year’s flagship device roll its eyes. The reasonable (subsidized) price and a few unique features combined with the massively large library of custom colors that the X can be outfitted with definitely gives it its own special something. And while we wait for Moto X launch day, it’s nice to go into the weekend today knowing at least a little bit more about the Moto X, specifically release days.
Today, both AT&T and Verizon announced (or reiterated) their intentions to carry the Moto X. Verizon will get the lead by one day, launching their X on August 22nd with AT&T following just 24 hours later on August 23rd. While Verizon has a short lead here, it’s almost worth it to stay with (or move to) AT&T if the customization features are of any value to you seeing as how they’re an AT&T exclusive for now.
VZW customers in particular have a hard choice coming up – Moto X or newly announced release date for the HTC One X which hit just about every other carrier several weeks ago?
