The rather unknown HTC Zara just took a step closer to reality today thanks to a some new information (and images) by way of infamous mobile leaker, @evleaks.
Some specs were previously leaked roughly a month ago. That said, what evleaks is sharing today is mostly the same. Screen size is said to be 4.5 inches @ 540 x 960 (qHD) resolution and power is made possible by a Snapdragon 400 processor running at 1.2 GHz. 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of built-in (SD card support too) handle storage while Android 4.3 and Sense 5.5 is allegedly the conductor of the entire show. Finally, a 2,100 mAh battery is tucked neatly inside the sealed enclosure.
No hard data has been pinpointed just yet but all the current chatter says Q4.
As a mid-range device it doesn’t sound all that bad. Problem is, it doesn’t sound all that interesting either. Considering the HTC One Mini has been confirmed and is coming to a bunch of carriers in the near future for ~$99, and also considering the One Mini is a much better phone from a spec and hardware design standpoint, will anyone bother to look at the Zara where the One Mini is also for sale? If the price is right, we’ll see…
