If you happen to care for your general rights in this little thing we call life, you may have stopped by Consumerist once or twice. Run by the same folks behind Consumer Reports, the Consumerist focuses more on personal acts of wrong by any and all corporate entities directed at consumers.
Over the last few weeks, company after company has been knocked out of the running with only one — Comcast — living ’til the end…

The last few days if you mentioned the words, Verizon, current user, and pre-order BlackBerry Tour, you may have wittnessed a small example of what standing next to a nuclear explosion was like. Verizon’s early decision to lock out current customers from being able to pre-order what is easily the best CDMA BlackBerry to date was downright ludicrous. Thankfully cooler heads have prevailed and the consumer has once again won another battle thanks to the power of voices in numbers. …survey says NO! So far the news about the next OS release isn’t very inspiring. Really apple…come on. A redesigned (slightly) mobile safari, Google street view and emoji icons!! Thanks for nothing. Where’s copy and paste, landscape keyboard system wide, video recorder, MMS…the list goes on. I can think of at least a dozen things the ENTIRE iPhone community has been asking for instead of the crap Apple is adding to the 2.2 upgrade. What, does Apple have two guys in a closet developing for iPhone in house? It’s stupid. Things people have been asking for since day 1 over a year ago are still missing. Please Apple, please for the sake of sanity for all iPhone users, please listen for once to your customers and actually do something we want. Is that too much to ask for?
