T-Mobile G2 working on Halloween costume, staying inside until October 16th…

Bad news for T-Mo G2 hopefuls if this rumor transgresses into reality… A comment made on a forum within T-Mo’s own walls claims that the G2 release date is being pushed back a couple of weeks to October 16th. Supposedly, hardware and software bugs discovered late in game are to blame. Now, I shouldn’t have to remind you take such claims with a grain of salt. It’s in a freakin’ chat forum. G2 Froyo ROM leaked. Sense UI no where in sight. Android junkies rejoice!

The big Android news tonight is not of any one piece of hardware coming to light, but instead a glimpse at the software the G2 will be running. Fans of the still elusive cupcake update for Android have another reason to lust.  Mobile Crunch discovered while playing around with an HTC Magic at MWC that a new folder popped up in the “live folders” screen: YouTube Favorites.  It is the first live update folder that doesn’t pertain to contacts alone.  In true live update fashion, your favorite YouTube videos will be pulled down and ready for your ocular enjoyment in as little as 2 clicks.  As...
