Angry Birds for Android not coming to HTC Hero, delayed for everyone else.

Angry Birds for Android not coming to HTC Hero, delayed for everyone else.

Some sad news to start your potentially exciting Friday — the developers behind Angry Birds have announced via Twitter that their upcoming full release for Android has been delayed. It’s a bittersweet revelation actually. According to the update, the devs wanted to add in true Android multi-tasking support as opposed to simply porting over the app and calling it a day. I personally find this a noble decision. Yeah, it will delay the game from reaching...

Dual booting shenanigans make their way to HTC Hero.

Dual booting shenanigans make their way to HTC Hero.

Whatever qualms you may have about one flavor of Android, you have to admit it’s pretty versatile. Consumers can do pretty much whatever they want with it. HTC does well with Android geeks. Releases Hero source code.

Part of the joy in owning an Android device is that it is so customizable. I’m probably more of a tinkerer than your typical Android user. Think you compare? I have roughly 25 different ROM’s/backups on my SD card so I can jump back and forth between various ROM’s when I please. Obsession comes to mind… Along the same line, users of the Android platform can somewhat easily take ROM’s from other devices, tweak a few things and get them up...
