Since I don’t live in a large city full of exciting stuff to do, social networking apps and those that are aware of your surroundings haven’t really piqued my interest yet for the simple fact that there isn’t really a shred of information or “goods” for my little town in northern Indiana. However, that hasn’t stopped me from dipping my toe in the pool from time to time. Loopt is popular social networking application that aims to bring users who live near and far together, sharing places of interest, and fostering a good time.
