I’m not trying to knock the true geek’s basement living, rarely venture up for air lifestyle (I’ve done it plenty myself), but sometimes you just stink. Plain and simple. Not to mention, for someone who is constantly multi-tasking and taking in information from all over the place, standing in place, staring at a blank wall, and scrubbing just doesn’t seem very exciting. So, why bathe?

If you’re a geek who doesn’t see the need to bathe, take note. The Star Wars Logo Soap is your soap. Everywhere in society we see geeks being tied to some sort of Star Wars/Star Trek background as the science/space stuff gets our gears grinding. Well, now you can take that geeky, space loving obsession and turn it into a squeaky clean dermis.

The Star Wars Logo soaps retail for $6.50 each. To some, that’s a bit pricey for a single bar of soap. But these are a labor of love, created one at a time. Surely you can appreciate that.

You could be like millions of other ordinary people on this planet and use the boring, no doubt crappy, and simply uncool webcam that came with your computer. Of course, if you really care about your nerdy reputation you could go “all out” and make use of the Star Trek Webcam.

Said cam features a nifty spiraling base that almost defies gravity and physics itself, giving the optics inside an optimal angle to capture your smiling face. It’s cool. It’s nerdy. It’s cheap. I don’t think most Trekkies will bat an eye at a $30 asking fee do you?

Though if quality or HD is anything important you’re best leaving this one in the box to fulfill it’s collector status as it’s a measly 300k resolution webcam (read: terrible). So while form trumps function once again, it is for a greater good I guess. A geekier, nerdier good. Godspeed.

True, die hard, old as second layer dirt geeks and some old at heart geeks will no doubt be poised and ready as soon as I’m finished with this article. If you have a thing for collecting antique technology and gadgets, this particular item will catapult you to the pinnacle of geekdom all while not breaking the bank. So what is it? How would you like to wrap your digits around the first ever produced Apple Macintosh Plus computer that was given to the mind behind Star Trek, Gene Roddenberry, as a gift by Apple. Also worth mentioning as it will surely add a few dollars to the value is the fact that George Lucas wrote the first draft of Star Wars on this pile of plastic. So two ultimate geek shows written on an antique computer. I’m sure you’re all drooling. Think it’ll be too expensive, that it’ll be priced into oblivion?

You may be surprised to know that it was only valued at $800-$1,200! *Gasp* Clearly whoever did the price estimation didn’t understand the amount of famousness and nostalgia this unit, #0001, holds. Though one can quickly understand and expect the price to climb out of the 4-digt range into territories unknown. The fun starts on October 8th and runs through ’til the next day via a good ‘ol auction. Think you have what it takes and the cash to back up that determination?
