While Logitech isn’t exactly raking in the money, they still are keeping up with new product releases. As previously mentioned they are cutting 15% of their workforce in order to try and get back into the black ink. Wanting to put money issues behind them and focus on the bright future, Logitech is jumping on the CES craze. Because headphones with just two speakers are junk and outdated, Psyko Audio has decided to up the ante quite a bit with their Psyko 5.1 headphones. These rather interestingly designed headphones don’t have just two speakers, but a whole slew of them, surrounding your head. They’re not kidding when the say surround sound! Apparently they have won some awards. I wonder if most radical design was one of them? Regardless, I can’t say I wouldn’t buy them if I liked how they sounded, however no matter how good their marketing is, I see them as a bit gimmicky. Besides the gimmicky part it will cost you $300 in order to get full surround sound headphones. Maybe if you lived in an apartment and wanted to blare movies at least you have a safe alternative without having to worry about having your neighbors or land lord knocking on the door. Even though they do look cool and unique, I would say try before you buy!
