ASUS Unveils The Transformer Pad 300 Series Complete With LTE, Tegra 3 And Slick Design.

One thing Android tablets haven’t been able to obtain so far is a runaway success compared to Apple’s (actual runaway success) iPad. And while we don’t see the newly unveiled ASUS Transformer Pad 300T changing that fact anytime soon, we are intrigued.

The 300T is ASUS’ first tablet to incorporate both LTE and quad-core Tegra 3 performance. Another bit talking point, and something that tablets still suck at, is photography, The 300T features an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera as well as fast f/2.2 shutter. The front-facing camera is your typical 1.3 megapixel affair.

After those two big talking points, specs get a bit more mundane: 10″ 1280 x 800 resolution display, 1 GB of RAM, 16 or 32 GB of built-in storage, and trio of color options (red, silver and blue).

ASUS rates the 300T at 10 hours of battery life by itself or 15 hours when connected to their fantastic docking accessory which turns the tablet into a pseudo laptop.

Pricing and release info coming soon.
