AT&T Outs 10 More Devices Scheduled To Receive ICS “In The Coming Months”.

Android upgrades are like an additional Christmas, but at whatever point in the year they fall. Most times the updates are relatively minor. Still, that doesn’t keep the Android faithful from flogging to forums, sharing DL links before they’re officially posted and rooting and improving official releases (sometimes also before they’re officially released). But when there’s a major update, say something on the scale of Gingerbread -> Ice Cream Sandwich, their world stops.

AT&T released today a new list of Android devices on their network scheduled to receive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich “in the coming months” — reassuring, we know…

  • Phones: LG Nitro, Motorola ATRIX 2, Motorola ATRIX 4G, Pantech Burst, Samsung Captivate Glide, Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung Galaxy S II, Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket
  • Tablets: Pantech Element and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9

Our only additional question for AT&T: Why not give us some more specific dates? Would something even like “April” or “June” be too much?
