Gizmodo  has gone through the long and intensive process of comparing many mobile browsers from popular smartphones including the Blackberry Bold, Apple iPhone, Samsung Instinct, Mobile IE running on a Samsung Epix, Opera running on a Sumsung Epix, Android G1, LG Dare, and a Nokia E71 S60.  It uncovers nearly every stone.  For the full article follow the link over to Gizmodo’s page, for a quick recap, see below:

As you can see, Mobile Safari and the G1 browser destroyed the competition browsing over 3g, while IE (no surprise here) was sucking dust on every possible test.  Using WIFI, the results become a little closer, still the G1 and iPhone lead.  Unfortunately, due to a glitch on the Epix, the Samsung running mobile IE wouldn’t run.  This makes it very easy to quickly look at the strengths and weaknesses of just about every mobile browser.  Thank  you Gizmodo for putting many rumors and accusations to rest!
