$20,000 Christmas bonus…nah, G1…OH YEAH BABY!
According to Gizmodo, even the internet behemoth Google can’t escape the troubled times in the current economy. Because of that, they have eliminated Christmas bonuses this year. Google being the people loving carefriendly corporation that they are didn’t cut their employees off completely cold turkey though. They are being rewarded with “special” G1’s with a little android design on the back. One other nice detail is that their “special” G1’s are all unlocked. Good luck using the 3g on any other network seeing as T-mobile is the only 1700Mhz 3g operator in the U.S. Oh well, its the thought that counts.

Looking at Motorola’s new design path that started with the Clique, moved to the Droid, and now appears on a third leaked device called the “Motus”, one unfortunate realization is materializing — Motorola is heading for another Razr Rut. A rut in which they get stuck on one popular design, unable to move forward and ultimately hurting themselves in the long run. Is the sliding qwerty keyboard design Moto’s new Razr Rut II?
