Coming now in the sense that you’re a Microsoft tester.  However outlandish and crazy it sounds, there may be some individuals who won’t switch to Windows 7 and throw Vista to the curb once the new hotness comes out. (God help their souls).  I don’t know what would motivate them to do something so unspeakable, but to each his own.  Anyway, for those Vista lovers, Microsoft will appease the loyal few with a second service pack.  So what’s in Vista SP2?  Come on…keep going…

  • Bluetooth 2.1 feature pack
  • Windows Search 4.0
  • Native Blue-ray recording support
  • Added Windows Connect Now (WCN) for increased ease in connecting to WiFi networks
  • exFAT file system to support Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) timestamps, allowing the correct file synchronization across different zones
  • (NEW)  Adds support for VIA Technologies 64-bit processors
  • (NEW) Improved WiFi reconnecting after returning from sleep
  • (NEW) Added features to DirectX making graphics much better
  • (NEW) Improved Audio/Video performance
  • (NEW) Improves Windows Media Center (WMC) content protection

So, Vista faithfuls.  Is it worth it?
