Gmail gets a couple new themes

The geeks of this world who love change, design, and eye candy and also happen to be users of Gmail will be pleasantly pleased to know that a few new themes have popped up in the themes section: Orcas Island, Turf, and High Score. Obviously, the blatant Nintendo look-alike isn’t called “Nintendo” because of various copyright lawsuits that would result almost immediately. If you’re a retro gamer or dig the look, have at it. Though be warned, the retro look does make reading anything pretty difficult at times. It’s not exactly a theme that you’re going to want to use if you’re worried about readability. Moving on, Orcas Island is your typical ocean front theme while Turf is a grass lovers dream. Lots of green green green. The latter two don’t have the pizazz or uniqueness of High Score And yes…it’s a slow morning. Why else would I crawl the settings tabs of web services…..
