Eagle eyes by Chris from MobileWhack caught a seemingly average laptop being used on the show 30 Rock. On closer inspection however we can see what appears to be a glowing Windows logo. Microsoft doesn’t make hardware in regards to actual computers. So what is it? A simple one-off made for the show or some slick skin/sticker? Most likely.
I’ve noticed myself that Macs, particularly Macbook Pro’s are becoming increasingly more common in TV commercials. Is Microsoft following Apple’s lead by leveraging the popularity of 30 Rock as well as making use of product placement in order to sell us Windows and Microsoft products in general?
