T-Mobile confirms Project Dark pricing!
T-mobile’s Project Dark has been quite the talk of the town these past few weeks especially after the prices leaked earlier last week. Those leaked prices were in fact legit as T-Mobile has gone ahead and acknowledged the Project Dark pricing and details on their website. The only thing that hasn’t been announced or revealed yet *fingers still crossed* is that of a rapid 3G expansion or ‘ol flip of the switch on their 21Mbps HSPA+ network that they’ve been caught bragging about once or twice. There is still time…
After having a few days to let the details soak in and crunch the numbers, how are you feeling with Project Dark and TMO’s new direction?

Iranian government tries to silence the sound of freedom and opposition by closing the internet.

Those silly Iranian government employees. They think closing off internet access in the country because of citizen protests concerning the rigged election and “re-election” of president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as well as remembrance of December 6, 1953 — the killing of three of University of Tehran students by Iranian police — will stop the truth from [...]

Yes folks, another follow-up. This time it’s the good boys and girls over at WolframAlpha, the intelligent, thinking search engine. If you recall, the big stink was raised yesterday when WA pulled their mobile optimized page leaving the normal page the sole solution for mobile users. To make matters worse, they made [...]

What’s the big deal behind Google’s fade-in homepage?

The web’s in a tizzy tonight over Google’s new home page layout that it’s rolling out to all users. The design takes minimalism and the “less is more” philosophy to the nth degree. When navigating to Google.com, at first all one will see is the Google logo and the search box. After [...]
Opera Mini 5 beta 2 now available!

Using a mobile device to browse the web was nothing short of an excruciating experience not too long ago. In fact, before the iPhone came along, it out right sucked. That is unless you had some flavor of Opera Mini running on your phone. The beauty of this browser was that the [...]
Consumer Reports reveals results to Best Carrier Service survey — AT&T gets the caboose.

Surprised? Ya, no one is surprised. AT&T finishing last in call quality is a given. To be fair, none of the big four carriers: Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, or AT&T ranked above 75. Even still, more written evidence of AT&T’s saturated and broken network is disappointing. But the real disheartening thing is [...]
LG and T-Mobile to bring the Android heat in 2010 and beyond?
December 1, 2009 - 12:35 pm

Don’t you love a classic rumor fresh from the mill? I know I do. I generally don’t like to get people too excited if there is little case for such emotion, but I’m sure T-Mobile customers and Android lovers won’t mind. LG hasn’t really had much of an impact here in the [...]
YouTube to begin streaming full TV episodes for $1.99 a piece?

Are you a fancier of movie rentals or simply rentals in general? Some people like constant change. For those individuals, renting items and services for short periods of time and constantly switching things up is the way to go — for them anyway. I myself am more of a buy/rent-to-own kind of [...]
Chrome for Mac to come in a tad underweight…
November 30, 2009 - 8:24 am

I can’t wait for Google Chrome on Mac. Almost since day 1, it replaced Firefox as my main Windows browser and over the last couple of weeks each build release has inched closer and closer to perfection. Granted, I use perfection loosely, merely using it to describe a “finished”, stable product. While [...]
