Hi-Tec Art to debut “stick in” LED game. Put your soldering irons away…

Remember that old light up game/toy we had as kids where you stuck in different colored plastic pegs into peg holes and the light inside would make them glow? Now fast forward 25 years and things have become a tad more high tech. That old toy that once provided hours of artistic enjoyment is getting a refresh, albeit this time a new and emerging Florida based company, “Hi-Tec” is responsible. The biggest change to this basic toy concept is that that the “pegs” are actually individual LED’s that can be stuck in to the game board.

Now hold up a second. Don’t LED’s require soldering and careful placement in-line resistors? Why yes, yes they do. But Hi-Tech has developed a new type of rubber “board” that the LED’s stick into that is tweaked to offer just the right resistance allowing users the ability to jam in as many LED’s as they like with all of them glowing at the same level of brightness. Now the kids inside of us are free to create unlimited amounts of art as well as be mesmerized by countless personal light shows.
