RingtoneStudio Giveaway contest!

Can you believe that just a few years ago, a “cool” ringtone was one of those polyphonic pieces of garbage? Hey, I can’t poke too much fun as even I at one point was captivated by this chorus of simple notes strung together (my how we’ve come so far…). These days, making your own ringtones can come from any number of sources. With Apple’s iPhone being the force to be reckoned with in the consumer smartphone market, customizing said gadget with your own personal flare is pretty desirable. Unfortunately, Apple doesn’t all you to create ringtones out of already purchased or 3rd party downloaded songs without paying extra money. My reasoning for such double payments are best reserved for another time and instead focus on what this article is really about — Free stuff! Now that got your attention didn’t it?

The makers of RingtoneStudio are hosting a contest for you iPhone toters to spur sales and get the word out about their product. If you couldn’t gather or long for more info, simply put, RingtoneStudio makes personalizing your iPhone with custom ringtones insanely easy and fun. The more friends and family you sign on board with RingtoneStudio the better as more sales equal bigger prizes. The prize giveaway is broken down into 3 phases:

1. Phase 1: 3 lucky, completely random users of RingtoneStudio will be drawn each winning a $15 iTunes gift card.
2. Phase 2: Once sales of RingtoneStudio hit 100 units, 2 more lucky winners will receive $50 iTunes Giftcards.
3. Phase 3: After sales surpass 250 units, one lucky winner will walk away with the grand prize — a fully *legally* unlocked iPhone 3G

**You do not need to actually purchase anything to be entered into the contest as online entry forms can be found at createiphoneringtones.com/contest/. But remember, if you don’t purchase anything, and the next person doesn’t either, no one will win any prizes. Do yourselves a favor and give a little. It could pay out in the end.

The whole shebang is pretty awesome if you ask me. The contest started on November 1st, but don’t get your little gadget loving self in a twist as you have until November 30th to get in on the sweet action.
