Now several hours old, the images of Symbians new, much improved face has made their rounds. I’ll say straight up that it looks hot. But look at the battery and signal meters as well as the general look of the icons and menu bar — they look a lot like the old Symbian. Am I the only one who isn’t impressed as much as they hoped to be? Granted, the new widgets and edge-to-edge mystery device it’s being showcased on all depict stunning design. Still, the aforementioned UI elements stand out and look pretty bad in my opinion.
So Nokia, considering the final design isn’t done yet, what gives with all the legacy artifacts?
