Have you heard the old saying “You’d lose your head if it wasn’t attached?” I can be pretty forgetful. In fact, I’d venture on to say that I have the memory resembling that of a goldfish — simple, quick, and short. Hell, notes I write to remember things either get forgotten themselves or lost in the shuffle of the daily grind we call life. Yet somehow I still manage.
You see, my head is still attached so I couldn’t ever possibly get too lost. Though my little surgeon friend here won’t fare as well should his cranium ever come up missing. Not only will he lose his face and the most dashingly good feature of his upper region, but the protective powers of his plasticized skull will leave the really important bits — the USB plug itself — exposed to the elements good and bad.
So next time you’re feeling like your memory isn’t quite up to snuff and getting down on yourself, just remember that it could always be worse. You my friend don’t have to keep track of where you last sat down your head…
