Lulz Hacker Group Turns Attention To Sony.

The same “Lulz” hacker group who hacked into PBS servers over the weekend apparently have a new target — Sony. A recent tweet posted to the groups Twitter page sounds rather baiting in nature:

Hey @Sony, you know we’re making off with a bunch of your internal stuff right now and you haven’t even noticed? Slow and steady, guys.

While the group could be all talk at this point, their previous hack was at least large enough to warrant PBS spending most of their holiday time off expunging their website of “Tupac Lives in New Zealand” verbiage. Before hte PBS hack, Lulz hacked into Sony BMG’s Japanese website a couple weeks back. To say Sony should be alarmed is an understatement.

The group is continuously updating Twitter with subtle yet cryptic hints such as “This is the beginning of the end of Sony” and using the Twitter hastag of “sownage”. Still, we haven’t the slightest exactly how hard Sony is going to be hit in this latest round of cyber warefare — if these new threats are even real at all.

We’ll keep following Lulz and the apparent ongoing Sony hack and update you as it unfolds.
