Following Anonymous Arrests, Spanish Police Website Taken Offline By Attack.

It appears Anonymous has “officially” responded to recent arrests targeting three claimed “core” members of the infamous hacker group by taking the Spanish police website offline. The total time of the outage on wasn’t too severe — roughly one hour — though the Spanish police themselves won’t go as far as claiming it was Anonymous. But they don’t really have to. Anonops is a site routinely used as a public front page for anonymous which has seena recent update claiming responsibility for the latest attack and giving it the name #OpPolicia. At the same time, Anonymous claims that no core group members have been arrested because…they don’t have a “core” group.
