Motorola’s Spyder And XOOM 2 Step Out From The Shadows.

Motorola’s upcoming Spyder (DROID HD) Android phone and XOOM 2 tablet have taken a few steps forward (thankfully) sans any covers giving us a nice glimpse of their true character.

The Spyder/DROID HD will feature a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor (though the model spied above apparently ran a bit hotter at 1.5 GHz), 1 GB of RAM, 4.3-inch+ display and pretty much everything else you’d expect from a high-end device these days. Meanwhile the XOOM 2′s most readily apparent feature is the new, rounded design similar to the Electrify on U.S. Cellular — a design which we love. Thankfully the XOOM 2 won’t have to deal with that pesky 3G –> LTE hardware musical chairs and will ship with next-gen wireless from the factory.

Anyone going to skip the Galaxy Nexus and instead jump into bed with Moto?
