Droid RAZR M: 4.3″ qHD, Dual Core S4 Processor, Android 4.0.

If a high-end smartphone isn’t in your budget (or you simply don’t need that much power), there’s plenty of increasingly powerful devices that will cater to both, such as this newly revealed Motorola RAZR M.

Specs for the mid-range M include a 4.3″ qHD (540 x 960) Super AMOLED “Advanced” display, dual-core MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 processor, 1 GB of RAM + 8 GB of internal storage, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera + 3-megapixel front-facing camera, all powered by Android 4.x Ice Cream Sandwich.

The 3-megapixel front-facing camera is a surprising addition considering even top-of-the-line smartphones like the Galaxy S III, iPhone 4S and HTC One X have at most 1.9 megapixels.

More info should be coming in early September considering Motorola (and a ton of other mobile manufacturers) have events planned to steal some of Apple’s thunder. For now, however, does this RAZR M look like a worthy mid-range option?
