Verizon Announces October 18th Availability For Droid RAZR HD/MAXX

Motorola’s recently unveiled Droid RAZR HD and it’s long-running MAXX version aren’t exactly secrets anymore, seeing as how Moto took the wraps off of them several weeks ago. But today, Verizon Wireless users at least can finally pinpoint a date on their calendar for when the aforementioned devices can rest firmly in their paws - October 18th.

The $199 Droid RAZR HD will ship with a 4.7″ 720p display, 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of built-in storage with more storage possible by way of external SD cards. Finally, Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth, NFC and all your other standard perks are included.

The $299 Droid RAZR HD MAXX is the same device as above just slightly thicker (ever so) but packs a 30% larger 3,300 mAh battery and an additional 16 GB of built-in storage to 32 GB total.

The tweaked hardware design complete with an even more hands-off approach to software skinning makes the new RAZR HD/MAXX pretty enticing, no?
