LG Nexus 4 Page Goes Live On Carphone Warehouse

Well well well. The Nexus 4 has apparently decided to emerge from the deep underbelly of the internet, right onto Carphone Warehouse’s website with a listed delivery date of October 30th.

Shipping date aside, the quad-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor, 2 GB of RAM, 4.7-inch 1280 x 768 display and 8-megapixel camera are all confirmed as well. Sadly, the 8 GB of on-board storage is as good as it gets seeing as how LG decided not to include removable storage via SD cards. (What the hell?!) Finally, the text on the page states that Android 4.2 features a new “Gesture Typing” feature that sounds a lot like the slide-to-spell keyboard, Swype.

Jelly Bean is listed as the OS of choice, despite it carrying the “4.2″ badge. Perhaps a slip-up on LG’s part or perhaps Google hasn’t revealed the true name yet. Or, maybe, Jelly Bean will spread across two version numbers.

Overall, the Nexus 4 is shaping up to be quite the phone, certainly one that many a geek can take a liking to, ourselves included.
