    by Mike
    Posted May 24th, 2009 at 6:40 pm
If you are a Blackberry addict, which if you use a Blackberry isn't hard is in fact almost a given, Crackberry.com's pre-release early review of the Blackberry Onyx will leave you drooling.  Bold users, prepare to feel as if your Bold is now inadequate and "old".  As far as a quick rundown of the specs go, those looking into the not too distant future at picking up the Onyx will come to appreciate the full boat of features and extremely impressive visual appearance the Onyx gives off.  Co...

  • Storm2 gets spied and manhandled
    by Mike
    Posted May 21st, 2009 at 12:46 pm
Those lucky people over at Engadget are the luckiest dudes in the business right now. They were able to sneak some quick hands on time with the Storm2, the only disappointing part being that a bug prevented them from doing pretty much anything besdies staring at the activation screen. GREAT NEWS!!! That half-baked/crappy surepress click screen is gone and has been replaced by a traditional (and much better) capacitive display. We can finally type faster and more accurately on the screen. *...
  • Zoinks! Blackberry Storm 2 coming soon - very soon?
    by Mike
    Posted May 19th, 2009 at 11:32 am
While a constant, continuous, and reliable production schedule is good for business, I'm not too sure Verizon and RIM's latest drama entitles. Word in the ninja catacombs is that Verizon reps are or will be very soon starting on training for the upcoming Storm 2. Not even a year into the Storms debut and we are already talking about its more attractive sibling. Ouch. While technology is a fast paced market and hobby to get in to, that is still a fast product replacement even by Apple stand...
  • Blackberry Storm 2 spied!
    by Mike
    Posted May 15th, 2009 at 3:09 am
Blackberry Storm users who are just starting to get aquainted with and into the rythmn of things with the current first gen Storm may be happy/sad/angry that we now have pictures of the next iteration of the Storm floating around.  From the pictures we can tell that there isn't that big of  a difference.  The sides and back have slight changes.  Perhaps the biggest physical thing we can see right away is that the standard answer/end/back/berry button are now incorporated into the glass/t...
  • BlackberryOS mobile brings leaked/beta OS’s all under a now mobile friendly roof
    by Mike
    Posted May 14th, 2009 at 1:09 pm
Most Blackberry users have a certain addiction that currently there is no cure for. THe addiction causes such things as family neglection, loss of interest in old hobbies, and after some time, the ever dreadful "Berry Thumb". One other less harmful addiction is that of the Blackberry OS connoisseur - those of you who patiently wait for the latestet number change in any newly released Blackberry OS at which point you pounce. Before, finding the latest OS while browsing from your mobile often...
  • NIN and Blackberry fans soon to rock out to sweet sweet music…together!
    by Mike
    Posted May 14th, 2009 at 7:10 am
If you just so happen to have a thing for Nine Inch Nails and also love carrying around a certain fruity device (no I don't mean an apple), then this morning/afternoon/evening you have something exciting to look forward to. The screenshot above clearly shows that Trent Reznor and his band NIN are in the process and apparently final stages of bringing a Blackberry version of the "controversial" (by Apple's utter retarded App Approval process) app to the Blackberry crowd. With more and more de...
  • Blackberry Tour (9630) gets chain free pricing on Bell
    by Mike
    Posted May 13th, 2009 at 2:52 am
CDMA Crackberry users who have been oh so impatiently waiting for a reason to be less wealthy and instead trade it in for the greatest CDMA berry yet will soon have chance.  A spy shot courtesy of one of Boy Genius' ninjas shows the 9630 Tour coming to Bell for $599.95 CDN ($510 USD) free of chains.  While a contract price is still up in the air, if Bell does business as normal and follows other pricing schemes, Bell Customers can expect to walk away with a shiny new Tour after signing ove...
  • Microsoft selling bonds…looking to get some shopping done?
    by Mike
    Posted May 11th, 2009 at 2:13 pm
Microsoft for quite a while now has been keeping an ever watchful eye on Yahoo ever since last years acquisition talks fell through. Since then Yahoo's stock price has tanked and is finally starting to rebound. Starting today, Microsoft has entered the world of bond selling in an effort to raise money for "general corporate purposes" - up to $15 billion to be exact. So what kind of general corporate purposes is Microsoft talking about? Well, besides Yahoo becoming another target for Redmon...
  • WM 6.5 Scroll Zen theme brings a slightly different WinMo 6.5 to your Berry.

While Windows Mobile is the market leader in smartphone world in terms of smartphone OS usage, it is hardly the prettiest thing or most versatile OS. However, leave it up to 3rd party theme designers to take care of the design department and what do you get? Beauty! Beauty how ever lies in the eye of the beholder and in this particular theme, if you don't like green, you're going to continue feeling empty...sorry. Maybe some other time. However, if you are a loyal Crackberry user who has ...
  • Uh-oh…Blackberry OS 4.7.0.141 fails Big Red’s wireless testing.
    by Mike
    Posted May 11th, 2009 at 7:43 am
Blackberry Storm users who were desperately waiting for the latest 4.7.0.141 update to drop on Verizon bringing some much needed TLC to RIM's often talked about Blackberry Storm, your wait has just been extended. According to a BG ninja, the latest firmware update failed Verizon Wireless' testing because of the ever persistent glitches that have become a nagging problem that just won't go away on RIM's first foray into the touchscreen world. So what does RIM have to say for themselves? Noth...
  • 3G packing Blackberry 96xx (Driftwood/Onyx?) coming to T-Mobile in September?
    by Mike
    Posted May 11th, 2009 at 2:57 am
T-Mobile fans who have been begging and pleading with RIM to show the "smallest larger" carrier in the U.S. and that funky 1700MHz 3G band can now finally breathe a sigh of relief, put away the protest signs, and start putting some dimes and nickels away in the bank.  Two separate sources from within TMO are claiming the the 3G enabled device is in fact on it's way.  The style will be very 8900-esque, yet packed with 3G goodness.  One source claims that the device's codename is Driftwood,...
