  • Are you a double amputee with a good sense of humor? If so, someone on Craigslist would like to have a word with you…

Physical deformations are never something to joke about. That is unless the person featuring the unfortunate deformation has fun with it themselves. If you've ever gone to an actual Halloween costume party, you know, one where the attendees actually get into and go over the top, you may have seen a full fledged Chewbacca costume with or without the standard C3PO parts strapped to his back. For one man in Austin, Texas, "spare parts" and the illusion of reality aren't good enough. No sir. He...

If you find yourself a local of Japan looking for something to eat on your fine Thursday afternoon and also happen to be in the festive mood due to Microsoft's grand release of Windows 7 today, why not kill two birds with one stone. Or you could sling a 7 pattied whopper at them. A joint effort between Microsoft and Burger King of Japan has created one of the more "tasty" marketing campaigns for Windows 7. The special editition Whopper features all the usual toppings of a normal whopper + 5 a...

So you're fumbling with your luggage, iPod/phone, and a bag of chips and then it happens. You're clumsy self drops your phone. What makes matters worse is that it slides across the floor and into an air vent...out of sight. The trifecta? You're phone was meaning the captain isn't letting anyone leave until that ticking time bomb of radiation is found and switched off. For one unlucky flyer of Jet2, these very events played out before his eyes. After dropping his phone and watching it slide...
  • Put words in the Pope’s mouth. Dirty dirty words.

What better way to honor a highly regarded religious figure than by stuffing his head with metal and voice recording components? If you've always felt you could say certain things better than the Pope or just think it would be humorous to turn his holiness into an expletive laden speaker, the "Benedictaphone" Pope head, voice recording key chain is right up your alley. While religious folks will certainly find this defamatory and offensive, I'm not one to get worked up about little things su...

While technology can be a great tool, it does at times have its shortcomings and hiccups. Take for example a couple traveling in Italy. Their original destination was Capri, however, they accidently typed in Carpi. Ok big deal you say, they typed it in wrong and the GPS got them there perfectly. In reality, the real "hiccup" wasn't the GPS navigating them to the wrong destination but instead the clueless couple who kept driving on and on completely oblivious to their surroundings. One wou...

I've tried to ignore all of the posts floating around the web of snuggies and a dozen other knock offs however this one while actually serving a good purpose, has an extremely "alien vs. predator" look to it.  I completely understand good parent skills and keeping your child warm and what not, but these things are downright freaky looking.  (freaky picture on left)  The picture shows exactly what I'm talking about to a "T".  Poor kid...trying to break free.  Probably thinking "Mom get m...

Engadget has been receiving many...again I say many reports that the old 30gig first gen Zunes are all of a sudden failing to function.  They reset themselves and then stay stuck at the loading screen.  This so called event has been dubbed "Z2K".  Is your 'ol 30 gig zune going the way of the dodo?  Is the world coming to and end?  Is Microsoft behind a grand scheme to first kill our zunes, then our first born, and then finish everyone else off in the stereotypical apocalyptic nuclear b...
