The much requested, sought after, and now on again off again Android 1.5 update, a.k.a., "Cupcake" was finally officially announced and released (albiet staggered for U.S. users) several weeks ago. However this developing tango is seemingly turning out to be a major drag. Why the long face? T-Mobile appears to have a case of Indian Givers syndrome. 17″ MacBook Pro’s begin arriving

If you are one of the lucky folks that have been able to order one of Apple's new 17" MacBook Pros you have most certainly been bummed about the shipping delay. However reports are coming in that the 17 inchers are starting to make their way to their new homes. Two readers (123free and UFOGoldorak) over at MacRumors have reported getting their 17" MBP's already...slightly ahead of Apple's (delayed) claimed February 19th shipping date...early is never bad people. One of the biggest upgrades that has been rumored for Apple's iMac lineup is the move to quad-core processors. The jump will bring pretty big performance increases in programs designed for multiple cores such as graphics software among others. Mainstream core i7 arriving late to the party?

Due to economic slow downs and overstock problems, Intel is said to be pushing back the release of their more mainstream core i7 processors until at least late August. The original launch time frame was mid to late July. If the economic conditions don't improve, or, get worse, the date could be pushed back even further.
