With all of the negative publicity AT&T; has been receiving the past few....months...there is a small glimmer of hope for the often knocked, rarely praised cellular giant. Their promise to bring more reliable and further reaching 3G coverage by way of the 850MHz band is starting to come to fruition. Starting with downtown Atlanta, Georgia and parts of Fulton, DeKalb, North Fulton, Cobb, Gwinnett, and Fayette counties, users should now experience better indoor 3G coverage as well as better voi...
  • BlackBerry Bold 9020/Onyx/now 9700 gets official Bold branding

The confusion and alphabet/numerical soup that has so far graced the BlackBerry Bold 9020 9700 can be laid to rest. Pictures of the new Blackberry Onyx leaked with the "Bold" branding have surfaced giving Crack addicts something more solid to gravitate towards. So far the Onyx has gone through a bevy of physical changes on it's track to becoming the 9700 including a trackball-to-track pad change, the whole issue revolving around the 9020/9700 numbering (I realize this isn't physical), a batt...

You know, it's really starting to look like AT&T; really wants to be the asshole of the wireless world. Offering an absolutely shitty service, blocking 3rd party apps left and right, and now changing the ToS to deny customers from any type of class action service means AT&T; really hates you and knows they suck. Now before we get started, if you haven't read AT&T;'s ToS, (which is all of you), you may want to check out this wording over here. For those of you who simply cannot click another li...

The iPhone 3GS is marketed by Apple as a worthwhile speed improvement over the iPhone 3G. While the bumped up processor and better still graphics chip have easily noticable speed increases over the older 3G model, the actual data speed side leaves much to be desired. In actuatlity, clever marketing jargon and coy business tactics helped Apple push the 3GS as much faster than it really is. What exactly are the dirty secrets? It all has to do with upload speeds...or the lack thereof... (...
  • Nokia announces E72, E71 now old and busted
    by Mike

While Nokia may have the majority of the world's cellphone users buying their phones, I would much rather consider the quality of said units instead of quantity as the majority of Nokia phones sold are laughable at their absolute best.  Those who have a taste for the finer things in life and gadgets will take pleasure in Nokia's latest high end gem, the E72.  In order to one up the now not so new E71, Nokia upped the megapixel count to 5, threw in a 3.5mm headset jack instead of the still-...
