Unlimited Data For iPhone 4S Upgrade Soooo Much Easier.

  • October 7, 2011 3:02 pm

Our contact within AT&T stated it was still possible to keep the unlimited plan, but as I experience, impossible to figure out and completely unclear. He also said that they are working on getting site cleaned up to make it easier to understand.

I just checked and it is working just fine and they have inserted a clear set up for data plans that is in no way confusing.

So if you were waiting for AT&T to fix the issue, it is fixed and ready for that order to be finished!

[Update] Reserve Emails From Apple Being Sent Out

  • October 7, 2011 4:17 am

Since 12:01am PST meant 12:41am in Tim Cook time, pre-ordering the latest and greatest iPhone took some time. But a short 25 minutes later the reserve email landed in my inbox. I was worried, because after the reserve, the progress wheel in Chrome kept spinning. I wasn’t sure if it had actually worked. But for all of you wondering the same thing, the proof is above.

We still want to know how the experience went for you guys out there. Personally, could of gone better. I am honestly wondering if I should of even attempted this process at the second pre-orders were up and running. The design didn’t change, so Apple shouldn’t of had a problem.

We’ll try to keep our ears to the ground on when locations are all out of units allotted for pre-ordered. We’re expecting an abundance this model, well, at least more than previous years.

It looks like the ‘Complete Your Order’ emails are arriving as well. I just received that, but the completion process is still getting nailed since it is hosted on Apple’s servers. It seems that people are still bombarding the site grabbing the latest phone. I guess the lack of a design change didn’t keep people away. For those ordering this morning, it seems we have until 5pm PST Friday the 8th.

Factory Unlocked iPhone 4S Price Revealed - Arriving In November

  • October 7, 2011 4:09 am

During all the commotion this evening ordering from the Apple Store, not sure if any of you saw the print under where you select your carrier? A link that says the Unlocked iPhone will be arriving in November. Upon clicking the link you’ll see the prices for all 3 models.

The 16GB will run you the $649, while the 32GB and 64GB will finish out at $749 and $849 respectively. As stated before, this World phone will only support GSM carriers. The CDMA peeps really aren’t part of the World, so we have to leave em out.

Will anyone be waiting to pick up a factory unlocked phone? Or snag one off of Craigslist once the Jailbreak community finds an unlock vulnerability?

The Drama Continues: Samsung Releases Comparison Chart for Galaxy S II and iPhone 4S.

  • October 5, 2011 10:56 am

It continues, the battle between Samsung and Apple sees a new story each and every day. With Apple unveiling their sub par new device yesterday, Samsung made sure not to rest with seeking to ban the new phone in France but also by releasing a comparison sheet highlighting how much better the Galaxy S II is over the iPhone 4S. I know I’m a fanboy and I’ll usually back Apple and their products, but I’ll agree that this crap between them is getting old. It seemed just two weeks ago posts on every tech blog teeter tottered between iPhone 4S/5 rumors and lawsuits between the companies.

Samsung wasn’t having it this time. Not even 24 hours after the event Samsung sent out emails containing the chart. They were quick to mention the 4G capabilities as well as the screen size. I don’t feel it really merits creating the chart and sending it out, at least on the iPhone 4S announce day. I really don’t think this will hinder folks, especially on 3 different carriers, to jump the Apple ship.

Hop on in for the chart…

PSA: Today’s iPhone Event Available To Stream Over At Apple

  • October 5, 2011 1:36 am

If you haven’t heard by now, Apple has made the keynote from earlier this morning available at their website for some hot streaming action. For those of you with two monitors, I recommend having one of them play, and then check out our massive rundown on all the topics touched on by Jobs Cook and friends.

The Keynote lasted around 90 minutes, but if you weren’t able to follow a live blog I highly suggest giving this a watch. The Phone might not be changing the game, but the crap packed inside it (by the way of software) is really changing it up. Not only is Apple taking the best of the Jailbreak world and packing it in (ie. Notifications, etc) but aslo creating your own personal assistant in your pocket - one that won’t screw things up with your wife - is some serious stuff. Siri along makes the phone worth checking out.

Question now is, what carrier will you be settling down with?

iPhone 4S Pre-Orders Rumored To Start At 12:01 A.M. PST On Friday

  • October 5, 2011 12:51 am

Apple’s long awaited (read: somewhat of a let down) iPhone 4S has been announced. We are getting both the black and white versions on launch day - which is a pretty big deal. We know the sizes and prices, including the newly added 64GB size. We also know that we’ll see pre-orders begin this Friday with a release day of the 14th of October. But when can we start slamming Apple’s website to pre-order this magical new phone?

MacRumors is reporting that Apple Representatives are telling customers that pre-orders will go live at 12:01 a.m. PST, Thursday night / Friday morning. That is totally tubular for us West Coasters, but you fanboys on the East will have to set that (non-dictated) alarm to go off just before the 3 o’clock hour. Good luck with that.

“Fireflies Dancing In The Air” - Infinity Blade 2 To Rock Out On The iPhone 4S

  • October 4, 2011 10:52 pm

One of the lesser paid attention to news form this morning’s iPhone event was the release of Epic Game’s Infinity Blade 2! Only available on the Apple iOS devices, Infinity Blade 2 brings us back into the epic fight we remember from last year. With incredible graphics, Infinity Blade was a game changer for mobile gaming. It is rare to see a game with such incredible gorgeous graphics - on a device you hold in your hand. But with the A5 processer and massive RAM upgrade we’ll get in the iPhone 4S - the sky is the limit.

Announced this morning with a release date of December 1st, Epic is bringing back the game that garnished a whopping $20 million dollars on what can be the greatest mobile device of 2011. If you played the first one, you are just as excited as I am. This Unreal Technology is insane to see, especially on a smaller screen. We’ll bring the news as it unfolds on this release, which will include my take once I get it in my hands.
