The web has been pretty quiet lately regarding any new “G” phones.  Many G users might feel kind of depressed or as if there isn’t much progress being made on the G1′s sequel.  Well I have some good news for you.  Gizmodo has received pictures from one of their sources showing the (rumored) G2 in all of its glory.  You’ll immediately notice the difference between the G1 and G2 concerning the call/end buttons, an upgraded 3.2 megapixel camera (sorry night shooters…no flash) and a slide out keyboard.  Scratch that.  The G2 is going the iPhone/Storm way and relying solely on an “onscreen, software keyboard”.  (Cupcake anyone?)  The overall shape is more rounded and smooth looking.  Still kind of brickish, but hey, I just want to see this thing released, and hopefully before the (what seems like forever) rumored May release date!  Click through for a picture of the other side of the device.
