Here’s Why The Pi Board Was Delayed…

That awesome Pi board that (shattered expectations) had a small hiccup in manufacturing that was going to cause small delays. At first it was pretty ambiguous as to what the real reason was. But now we know — the manufacturer installed the wrong network jack on the board. Apparently, the Pi is designed to use magnetic network jacks and instead was fitted with non-magnetic ones. Simple solution: desolder the old jack and re-solder the new one on. According to Whoops.
