Not A Repeat: Sony Hacked Again.

Alright, Sony. This is getting ridiculous.

Security firm F-Secure has issued a report detailing a new Sony hack. This latest intrusion has taken a server used for Sony’s Thai site hostage and repurposed into a phishing site host targeting customers of an Italian credit card company. Luckily this particular web server doesn’t have access to sensitive information and services a relatively number group of users.

Regardless of how minor this latest hack is, it shows that Sony’s security infrastructure is sorely lacking. And to think, they’ve been operating for years with tens of millions of consumers’ data this way.
